Invisalign / Clear Aligners

Invisalign aligners offer an invisible way to address many orthodontic problems that were traditionally corrected with traditional metal braces.

Every two weeks or 6 weeks if schedule is tight, you’ll come in to our office to receive your next set of aligners. Each set will feel tight at first as your teeth continue to adjust to the final alignment, but it’s important to continue to wear them for at least 22 hours a day for optimal results. Leaving them out for too long can cause problems and extend your treatment.

Most adults will need to wear their Invisalign aligners for 12-24 months, though this ranges from person to person. If you’ve had braces before and you’re just looking to correct slight shifting, your treatment will generally take less time than an adult who has more complicated issues. Also, since Invisalign aligners are clear and conform closely to the shape of your teeth, most people won’t notice you’re wearing them. Invisalign are worn for at least 22 hours a day to be effective. But it can be taken out when you are eating or brushing your teeth.

Its easy to take care of your aligners: Rinse aligners with tap water. Brush them gently with tooth paste or rub it with liquid soap. Rinse them again and check if retainer has discoloration and cloudiness. You may soak your aligners in denture solution according to instruction to get rid of plaque build up.
